Spazio Zero – Contemporary Art is an exhibition space dedicated to promoting contemporary arts and aesthetic research.
Founded in 2020 by Edi Pagliai and Luigi Petracchi, it is located in the Casalguidi district and spans 500 square meters, designed to highlight art pieces and create an energetic synergy between the artwork and the audience.
In the spring of 2019, Luigi Petracchi’s exhibition Conflicts and Harmonies at the frescoed halls of the Palazzo Comunale in Pistoia left viewers and the community with important reflections, emphasizing the value of a “plural city” that embraces the cultural needs of the community. These reflections inspired the creation of Spazio Zero, an open, multifunctional, and plural exhibition space. The aim was to bring contemporary art to Serravalle Pistoiese, creating a cultural innovation that could spread throughout the province and resonate nationally.
Spazio Zero serves as a space for artistic projects and promotion, also fostering engagement with contemporary art for new generations.
